Breast augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries among women in Dubai and all over the world. However, being such a popular procedure doesn’t mean you should know everything about it.
In case you have been researching, probably, there is always that one question you might ask yourself over and over again but you can never get a proper answer. In this case, we have answered a few of our patients frequently asked questions in order to try and help you know more about breast augmentation surgery in Dubai.
Q: Who performs the breast augmentation surgery and where?

Q: How long does the breast surgery augmentation procedure take?
A: The procedure will take one to two hours to be completed.
Q: Will I be able to drive right after my surgery?
A: If you have an automatic car, you should refrain from driving for at least one week. In case your car is manual, it is best you do not drive for two weeks.
Q: When can I go back to the gym and exercising?
A: You may get back to the gym after three weeks, but keep in mind to only engage in light exercises. Strenuous exercise should be avoided for a minimum of six weeks.
Q: When can I travel?
A: You should be able to travel within 48 hours after the procedure, as long as it is a short flight. For long haul flights, it is advised to wait for one week.
Q: Do I need to wear a surgical bra? And for how long?
A: After one week of operation you should return to the clinic to have your dressings removed. Once that happens you will be asked to wear a sports bra, for 24 hours, during the first six weeks in order to support the breasts.
Q: What will happen if I get pregnant after I undergo a breast augmentation surgery?
A: Whether before or after pregnancy, results vary for every woman. Your breast will definitely get bigger – the size of the implants will also contribute to the amount of enlargement – and you will go through all the usual changes associated with pregnancy.
Q: Will I be able to breast-feed after surgery?
A: Many women with breast implants have successfully breast fed their babies without any problems. As long as the breast tissue is not touched during the surgery.
