BREAST AUGMENTATION DUBAI. Breast implants have been used for enhancement since the late 1970s. However, the implants that were used were shown to have adverse effects and major complications such as leaking and rupture tendency for the implants. Today, breast implants have been tested to last longer and are better and more advanced in terms of safety when compared to previously used implants from decades before.
THE SURGERY
The breast augmentation surgery is carried out under sedation as an out-patient surgery. This means that patients are not aware of their surroundings during the surgery and are also pain-free. Moreover, with sedation, patients recover faster compared with general anaesthesia and can also go home the same day. The surgery will usually take around half an hour to a couple of hours. After the surgery, patients are closely monitored before they are deemed safe to go home.
AFTER THE SURGERY
A dressing is placed around to support the new breasts, which is then removed after three or four days. It is also important to wear a non-wired cotton bra for one month. During the first few days after the surgery, the breasts will look pointy and swollen. This is a normal occurrence and will resolve after a few weeks. Most of the time, the new breasts will also look a bit high. This is also expected and the will eventually settle down to their normal position after a few weeks.
The scars which are located underneath the breast folds will be a little bit bumpy during the first few weeks and will eventually flatten after a few months.
