Breast Augmentation Dubai

Breast augmentation is a procedure that enhances the size, shape and volume of the breasts using implants. Breast implants are made up of a silicone gel that can either be filled up with silicone or saline. Currently, there are different types of breast implants available in the market and can be identified according to their shape (tear-shaped, round) and texture (smooth/ textured/ nanotextured).

Ideal patients for breast augmentation are those who want to improve their look, non-smoker, healthy individuals. Breast augmentation surgery is usually carried out as an out-patient procedure which means patient can go home the same day. The procedure will take around an hour and a half. After the surgery, a bandage dressing will be wrapped around the breasts which help support the breast implants. This bandage dressing will then be removed after 4 days and the dressings will be changed. It is critical to support the breasts and implants for the first month. A non-wired cotton bra will be worn for a month after the breast augmentation.

For the first couple of weeks, the breasts will look a bit pointed and swollen. The breasts will settle after a few weeks and will look more natural when the swelling has completely gone. It is important to sleep on the back for a couple of weeks while sleeping on the front can resume after a month. During the first month, it is important not to lift the arms above shoulder height so as not to stretch the wounds.
